The National Collegiate Scouting Association announced in a release that senior Nathan Zuzga signed a national letter of intent to play soccer for Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C. Zuzga, a 6-0, 165-pound striker from Troy High School, is one of seven other students who next season will play as freshmen for Catawba College. Zuzga finished his high school career in top fashion as All-State, All-Regional, All-Area and All-Conference selections. He led his team to a fourth place finish in the 2002 state tournament, Zuzga is also a three-year member of the state Olympic Development Program and member of the TSC Galaxy travel club team. "We are excited to announce the addition of these young men to our program," Catawba College coach Craig Turnball said. "They have all played at high levels and we feel they each can contribute to the tradition of Catawba soccer." NCSA assisted Zuzga in finding the right college.
