Lisa Strasman is a graduate of Yale University where she captained the women's ice hockey team. After graduation she traveled to Switzerland to play professional hockey. Strasman ultimately returned to her hometown of Chicago and joined NCSA in 2004. During the last four years Strasman has worked with student-athletes and college coaches in all sports and has played a critical role in the growth and development of NCSA's Recruiting Coach Department. She still remains involved with the youth hockey community through speaking events and coaching in Chicago's North Shore community.

Katie Heidenreich, originally from St. Louis, MO, attended St. Joseph's Academy where she played field hockey, basketball, and soccer and won a state championship in each. She later moved to Chicago to begin her collegiate soccer career at Loyola University where she won back to back conference championships receiving automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament. Katie joins NCSA with degrees in finance and marketing.

Sarah Riva, originally from West Frankfort, Illinois, attended Frankfort Community High School where she varsity lettered in basketball and softball all four years. She was the first female athlete at FCHS to be nominated for the all-state team in two sports (basketball and softball) and was inducted into FCHS Hall of Fame in January, 2007 for both sports. Riva received a full-ride scholarship to play basketball at Eastern Illinois University where she was selected co-captain her Senior year. Riva majored in communications and interned with the Eastern Illinois Athletic Department her Senior year. After graduation, Riva worked as a Sales Representative for Konica Minolta Business Solutions and also as a Promotions Assistant with CBS Radio.

Kelly Bowman, a graduate of the University of Minnesota, joins NCSA with a degree in business and marketing, as well as collegiate and professional volleyball experience. During her time at Minnesota Kelly was named a first team AVCA All-American, First Team All-Region, two time All-Big Ten, and led her team to back to back Final Four appearances, including a National Championship Appearance. Following her college career Kelly trained with the U.S. National Team at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

In 2004 he captained the State Champion Soccer team while winning All-State and All-Area Player of the year awards. He continued his soccer and academic career at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he graduated with a degree in Communications and led the Men's Soccer team to three national tournament appearances with a runner up finish in 2006 and Final Four appearance in 2007.

Mike earned his bachelor's degree in speech communication from Augustana and is currently working towards obtaining his master's degree in sports administration from Northwestern University. Originally from Mishawaka, IN, Bob Shriner played tennis and swam at Mishawaka High School. In 2004 he earned a bachelor's degree in management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. While in school he served as an intern for the South of England Athletics Association in London and as head instructor for swim program. Shriner comes to Chicago having spent the 2005 season in the box office with the South Bend Silver Hawks baseball team.

Before joining NCSA, Lissa was an Operations Associate at a Search Engine Marketing firm in Boston. She was then hired as the Assistant Girls' Tennis Coach at Stonehill College and the Junior Varsity Girls' Tennis Coach at Milton Academy. As a certified USPTA teaching professional, she was also the Director of Junior Development at Sudbury River Tennis Club in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Randy Taylor has been in college football for nearly 30 years. Most of his career he's been directing recruiting for schools like UCLA, Minnesota, UNLV and Illinois. Randy directed the recruiting at UCLA in the late 90s and early 2000s, highlighted by a #1 nationally ranked recruiting class in 1999.

After the 2000-2001 recruiting period Randy was selected as the nation's top recruiting coordinator by ESPN.com and Tom Lemming.

In addition, he created his own scouting service that nearly 40 D1 college football programs subscribed to for player evaluations.

Taylor has been married for 31 years to Kristine and they reside in the Chicago area.

Matt Balhan's recruiting process began through his involvement with NCSA. After communicating with several college coaches Balhan chose Millikin University to further his education and baseball career. Balhan graduated from Millikin in May 2008 with a Business Management degree and while there he played three years of NCAA Div III baseball for the Big Blue. Balhan started for the varsity team his sophomore and junior years. Although a nagging injury caused him to miss his senior year, Balhan's name remains in the CCIW record books for most home runs in conference games during his sophomore year.

Chris Brooks, originally form Robinson, IL comes to NCSA after a two year stint as a college basketball coach at Lincoln Trail College and Frank Phillips College. Brooks was a three-sport four-year letter winner in high school, which eventually led to a full football scholarship from Southern Illinois University. While at SIU Brooks received his bachelor's degree in University Studies and he is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Business Administration. Brooks joins the NCSA team with countless years of experience coaching and playing at the high school and college levels.

Originally from Troy, MI, Brandon Byrd excelled in soccer and baseball while attending Troy High School where he earned accolades for his play. Prior to joining the NCSA Team, Byrd worked at two baseball academies in the suburban Detroit area, coaching and instructing baseball players.

Marc Coburn was a three sport athlete in high school with all state honors in track and was heavily recruited in both track and football. Coburn accepted an athletic scholarship to Western Michigan University for track & field, where he specialized in the decathlon. Coburn excelled at hurdles, high jump, 400m and was a main part of a number of relay teams. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management and a minor in recreation, with an emphasis in sports marketing and facility management. Before joining NCSA, Marc Coburn spent two years working in the hospitality industry in North Carolina. He also has experience in promotions with the Kalamazoo K-Wings Minor League Hockey team and as a sales representative for Golfing In Michigan. Coburn was a coach and mentor for high school athletes in his home town of Three Rivers, MI, as well as with the Special Olympics.

Kara Griffiths, a California native, swam and played basketball and waterpolo at Menlo School in Atherton, CA. She helped lead her waterpolo team to consecutive section championships her junior and senior years. Billy Porter graduated from the University of Dubuque with a Bachelor of Arts in 2005 and a Masters of Arts and Communication in 2008. Porter played college tennis and soccer for the Spartans. From 2005-2008 Porter was the Head Men's Tennis Coach and Head Women's Tennis Coach from 2006-2008 at the University of Dubuque. In the three years of coaching Porter became the all-time wins leader winning 63% of the team's matches and crowning six Conference Champions. Porter spent his summers coaching at Nike Tennis Camp at Stanford University and Total Tennis Training at Clemson University.

Amanda Rawson started her collegiate career with a full-scholarship to South Suburban College where she was the NJCAA Region IV MVP. She also had a hand in leading the Lady Bulldogs to back-to-back Region IV Championships, as well as, contributed to a two-time appearance at the NJCAA National Tournament. Rawson then transferred to St. John's University were she spent the last two years of her collegiate career on full-scholarship. While at SJU she was named to the Big East All-Academic Team. Rawson earned a bachelor's degree in sports management and finished her academic career by graduating on the Dean's List. Before completion of her studies, she spent time as a public relations intern with the New York Rangers Hockey Club.

Schlicht, originally from Lake Orion, MI, graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in marketing. While at WMU he was a member of the men's soccer program, where he earned an athletic scholarship, was named captain, and was voted MVP his senior year. Before transferring to WMU he attended Eastern Michigan University where he was named Student Athlete of the Year in Men's Soccer and was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council. In addition to the accomplishments on the field, Jeff received an academic scholarship and was on the Deans list all 4 years. Prior to college Schlicht was a 4 year letter winner at Lake Orion H.S. where he was named to the All-State First Team and Detroit Free Press Dream Team his senior year. Before joining NCSA he coached for Lake Orion Soccer Club, a youth organization that focuses on skill development and enjoyment of the game.

Pat Sharrow comes to the NCSA staff as a former three sport athlete at Monroe High School in Monroe, Michigan. He was an All-State selection his senior year in both football and track and field. During high school Sharrow was highly recruited by various Division I programs for both football and track and field. He accepted a full-ride scholarship as an offensive lineman and long snapper to the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, from 2003-2006, Sharrow was a member of two Big Ten championship teams and was also a member of three Rose Bowl teams. After suffering a career-ending injury at the end of his junior year, he joined Michigan's Strength and Conditioning staff, where he remained for nearly three years.

School in Lincoln Park. Following high school Troy attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio where he received his BA in Communication and played baseball for three years. Troy recently worked as a runner for ESPN and as the head Junior Varsity baseball coach at Francis Parker High School.

Matt Webb is a 2006 sports administration graduate from the University of Louisville. Webb was a 3-year starter for the 2007 Orange Bowl Champion Louisville Cardinals. At the University of Louisville, he helped set an NCAA record for most extra points in a season and long snapped to Art Carmody who was the 2006 Lou Groza Award Winner. Prior to his football days, he was known as 'Sergeant Webb' of the Second Battalion, Fifth Marines. Matt Webb honorably served his country for four years earning the Navy Achievement Medal, 3-time Rifle Expert and Good Conduct Medal.

Joyce Wellhoefer joined NCSA in February 2007 after a long tenure coaching softball and basketball at NCAA Division I, Division II and NAIA levels. She was named GLVC Coach of the Year and clinched a softball conference championship in 2000 with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Before coaching at the collegiate level, Wellhoefer earned her Master's Degree in sports administration at Kent State University. While at Kent State, she worked with the women's basketball and track & field programs. She began her career at the high school ranks coaching basketball, softball and volleyball. While attending college, she played basketball, softball and track & field. Upon completion of her Bachelor's Degree, Wellhoefer played semi-pro basketball in Vienna, Austria. Wellhoefer is actively involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has traveled abroad with several teams.

New to Chicago, she is enthusiastic about joining the NCSA team.

Mark Bagdon, originally from Lake Bluff, IL, played baseball and football while attending Lake Forest High School. As a baseball prospect, he worked directly with NCSA President Chris Krause before injury cut short his playing career. He graduated in 2006 from Villanova University with a bachelor's degree in management and a minor in international business. Bagdon joins the NCSA team with more than five years of experience coaching youth sports.

Cory Eisenstein grew up in Northbrook, IL, where he was a multi-sport athlete in high school. Eisenstein played baseball and hockey and was named to the Illinois All-State Team in 2003. He continued his education at Indiana University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications and a minor in business in 2007. Before joining NCSA, he interned at SportingNews Radio and MetroNetworks in the promotions department.

Namon Johnson graduated from Carthage College with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. While at Carthage he played four years of football, starting at tailback and defensive end. A natural leader, Johnson served as team captain for all four years, guiding his team to a conference championship. Prior to joining NCSA Johnson was an account manager at Marketing FX, a marketing firm in downtown Chicago.

Previously, O'Brien worked for Clear Channel Radio's national sports marketing department, where he offered specialized turn-key sports advertising and marketing programs to corporate businesses for more than forty professional sports teams and hundreds of colleges and universities. O'Brien graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in history and economics and is a former three sport athlete at New Trier High School.

Aaron Sorenson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007 with a degree in Communications. Before transferring to Wisconsin-Milwaukee he attended Lawrence University where he played both basketball and baseball. Sorenson transferred to Wisconsin-Milwaukee after his sophomore year to take on the challenge of playing Division I baseball. Sorenson earned a scholarship as a pitcher.

Jim Broe is a senior at Loyola University in Chicago and originally hails from Cincinnati, OH. Jim graduates in May with a degree in Visual Communications. He was a setter for his volleyball team in high school and plays club volleyball at Loyola.

Alex Horton originally came from Wales where he represented his high school in rugby, soccer and tennis. Horton gained representative honors for his county in soccer and tennis where he was part of the tennis team that won the national championship. Horton went on to graduate from new Trier High School in Illinois where he represented the varsity tennis team that came second in state in 2004.

In 2008 Horton graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. While at Gustavus he was a member of their varsity tennis team which won two national indoor championships, four conference championships and were ranked number one in 2007. Horton also represented the varsity cross country team gaining all regional honors.

Horton wrote, directed and acted in two films while at Gustavus and in 2008 one of his films was shown in the local cinema in front of a sell out crowd.
