After high school, I always hoped to continue my athletic career in baseball or basketball. I was fortunate to get some interest from a few DIII colleges, but was clueless about the recruiting process. With few options to pick from, I chose to attend a small DIII University in Ohio. Despite having a world class academic curriculum and an emerging baseball program, I quickly realized it was not the right fit for me personally. My recruiting ignorance was exposed a second time during the transfer process and with zero athletic opportunities at other schools, I decided to attend Indian University in Bloomington to pursue a Business Degree. Although I loved my time on campus in Bloomington, I will always regret not having the chance to finish my baseball career at the college level. I hope that through my work at NCSA, I can help a few athletes avoid the same mistakes I made in addition to being a part of this amazing team.
