Personal Statement
Since I was 3 years old with my first wiffleball bat, I've dreamed about playing baseball in college and beyond. Baseball is where I'm most comfortable and find the most happiness.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a very hard worker, I am coachable, and I keep a good attitude on and off the field. Grades are also very important to me.
I have maintained a 3.48 GPA throughout my 3.5 years of high school, and only strive to get better. Since my sophomore year, I have taken all of my core courses in the honors track, and constantly challenge myself in the classroom to make myself a better student, and person.
In my 9 years of baseball experience I have earned a starting position on every team I have played on, and was selected for the all-star team, all 4 years of my LL career in Georgia. Where I lack in velocity, I make up in my command of my fastball and consistently keeping batters off-balance with my off speed pitches. I also skipped a grade, so age wise, I am a junior in high school. I am willing to do whatever it takes to play for your college and aid your team in whatever help it needs.
