Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to obtain the best formal education that i can beyond high school. My favorite course of study is american history, i am aiming for a degree in education so i can one day teach and coach high school baseball. I have a lot to offer any college baseball team in so many ways. I have been playing organized baseball since i was 8 years old. I started taking formal hitting lessons at the age of 9 at The University of South Alabama with then 3rd base coach Ron Pelletier. My first serious bullpen work came at the age of 11 when i was invited to catch a bullpen at The University of South Alabama for LHP Chris LaGrow. I have been protecting home plate since i was in little league. This summer i caught 4 bullpens for Seattle Mariners LHP Rusty Shellhorn. I also catch bullpens for 2 college freshmen when they are in the area, Keegan Curtis ULM and Landon Presnall LSU-E.
I have played for several travel teams also, The Alabama Lightening, The Alabama Yellow Hammers, and The Super Outlaws. I think what makes me an excellent college recruit is my own high expectations of getting a solid education. I'm a highly coachable player with a very strong work ethic, goals, self motivated in workout routines, self starter. I am looking for a great school to further my education, and be coached by the best.
