Personal Statement
My name is Reid Maddox and I am a high school senior, class of 2016. I am 5' 10", 145 lbs. Since I started playing at a young age, I have developed a very strong passion to play at higher levels of baseball. I know that you have to work hard to get to the collegiate level. It is my dream to play college baseball and I know that if my dream does happen that it will change my life.
I do my best to get out on the field or in the cage to improve my game as much possible. I am very coachable and I encourage my teammates in any situation in games or practice. I strive to work hard to become a better player and will do anything to correct any mistakes. I believe I have the mental toughness and work ethic that it takes to be a successful collegiate baseball player.
In school, I strive to maintain all A's and B's and be the best student athlete as I can. In the past, I have volunteered to help with my local baseball camps and have also helped with my youth minister's son's baseball team and worked on various community projects through my church.
I want to attend a college where I can show my talent of playing baseball that God has given me and work hard in the classroom to become a better student. I am open to any college options and to find the right college at the highest level of competition possible. I want to make my parents proud and also to please God in everything I do whether it be on the field or anywhere He leads me.
Thank you for viewing my profile! I look forward to the opportunity to play for your school!
