Josue Garcia '18 Recruiting Profile

Growing up, I always aspired to go to college and play baseball. I didn't know until recently what I wanted to study and what I wanted my career path to be.  What I was 100% sure of, was that I wanted to continue to play baseball out of high school, into college and if God willing move on into higher grounds.  Yes I know the statistics to get into the major leagues but my love, desire, dedication and talent for the game makes me believe I can do it.  I have been playing since I can remember, I want to say 3 years old and I may not have all the medals, the trophies or the team rings that travel teams get when they win but I have the desire to continue to be better, the strive to excel and the love for the game. I am a respectful individual and take criticism well, whether it be from a coach, a teach, a counselor or mentor. Even for my young age, I am very responsible and have kept my grade point average at a good standing in order to get into a good college with a good baseball program.
