Personal Statement

My goal is to play baseball at the next level.  I feel I am a stand out because I have always had to work harder than everyone else just to be noticed on the field because of my size.   I was born premature, a whooping 1 lb 9 oz.  I learned at a very young age that I didn't want to be ignored by the coaches on the field so being the best was the only way to get their attention.   I learned that hard work off the field is what prepares you on the field.  I feel my work ethic is outstanding and makes me push myself to the next level everyday.  I understand that there are other kids working just as hard which makes me work even harder.  My grades/studies are very important to me and I continue to challenge myself daily.  I have had great coaching around me since I was very young and know that if Dustin Pedroia,  Jose Altuve, and David Eckstein can be successful, so can I.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
