I have been playing baseball since I was seven years old, thanks to my grandpa. I started in the state of Nebraska over the summer where I developed my passion for the sport. I grew up around baseball, all my cousins played and my entire family and I would attend the College World Series in Omaha. It was in the summer when I was playing catch with my grandpa I had this feeling of pure happiness and peace. I knew then, I never wanted to stop playing baseball and that feeling has never faded away and never will. I love the sport of baseball but the thing I respect the most about it is trusting the process. I also feel that in pursing the process, focusing on my education is just as important. Everything in baseball takes time, patience, quickness, and discipline. I love the fact that in baseball you fail constantly but the thing that separates successful from average baseball players is how you bounce back from that failure. Baseball is much more than a sport to me its a separate reality of life. In life and in baseball, as human beings we make mistakes all the time but the only thing we can control is our attitude and our effort to not make the same mistake again. I love the hard work and the grind that comes with baseball, I would love nothing more than to continue to play at a collegiate level while getting my degree. I enjoy the challenge of pushing past my mental and physical barriers day in and day out. If you select me to be apart of your baseball program I will show you hard work, dedication, and a relentless work ethic. You will not regret it.
