Ever since I can remember, playing baseball at the highest level has been my dream. It would be beyond all expectations to step out onto a college field and play among the most talented players and experienced coaches. I know that my willingness to learn and better my playing skills will be an asset to any team.
It has never been a question of whether or not I would go to college, but where I would be going to college. My goal is to get a college scholarship to play ball and receive my bachelor's in Sports Medicine.
I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. Everyone always told my parents and me that I was a natural when it came to playing baseball. Even at that age I was already demonstrating that I was a smart athlete. At that young age, I understood the fundamentals of the game. I was hitting and fielding better than many kids older than me. I love the game and when I play, I put all my heart, soul, and effort into my game. I am coach-able and very willing to take constructive criticism. My easy-going personality has always been a positive aspect on any team I have played with. I get along very well with all my teammates and coaches and am always willing to help my teammates. I am the first to show support in times of struggles and the first to cheer my team on. Every game I play, I play like if it is the championship. Athleticism runs through my blood. I was named the Wendy's High School Heisman Player of my school. I work hard at what I do and show pride in everything I do.
Academics has not always come easy to me like baseball does, but just like I work hard on the field, I work extra hard in the classroom. I have maintained a GPA of at least a 3.0 or better and have set high standards for myself. During my 8th grade year, I was named as the All- American Student of the Year. It was a great honor for me because I was selected by the school principal. That showed me that with hard-work and dedication, anything is possible.
