Personal Statement


Hello my name is Tristan Wiley.  My collegiate goals and aspirations are quite simple...to get an outstanding education at a great school to help me in life AND to play baseball for my college program and hopefully get drafted like my cousin has!  He was drafted by the SF Giants from the EmbryRiddle Eagles (Tyler Cyr) and hope to follow the example he has set!!!

I am a perfect fit for any program because I play baseball the way it should be played.  I love and respect the game of baseball!  I'm a quick learner, hard worker and posses a solid baseball IQ.  I will ALWAYS play for the name on the front of my jersey, never for the name on the back.

I KNOW what sets me apart from most other recruits is my dedication to my academics AND my team.  I'm dependable, driven and a self-starter in the classroom and on the field.  Very rarely do I need to be told what to do more than once!  I am extremely coachable and handle constructive criticism very well!  My coaches will enjoy having me on their team.
