Personal Statement
I have always loved the game of baseball and it is a real dream of mine to play baseball at a college level. I played baseball my Freshman and Sophomore year of high school so far and both years I played as the starting catcher for varsity. Both years I have earned the title of MVP on my team and my Sophomore year I had the privilege of being a Captain. My goal is to go to a four year university and be able to play baseball. I plan on playing baseball my Junior and Senior year of high school and hopefully be named Captain for those two years and keep my title of MVP both those years. I am also striving to be Valedictorian for my class. Right now I am ranked 1 in my class of 19 and plan on staying at this level. My cumalative GPA is 3.6 for my Freshman and Sophomore year. I plan on excelling even more my Junior and Senior year in my academics. I have played baseball for as long as I can remember and I really fell in love with catching when I was about 8 years old. I trained with a personal trainer for many years and have learned many great techniques for catching. My dad has been my biggest supporter and coach. Over the years he has trained me and made me the player that I am now. I really think that I would be a great fit into your team.
