I have been playing baseball since I was about 7 years old and playing baseball that long has taught me some very important things about myself. My freshman year was filled with ups and downs because at the beginning of my freshman year my mother was diagnosed (later passed on half way through my freshman year) with stage 4 lung cancer. That year was very hard for me to keep my academics up while play baseball at the same time. In my freshman year we won league and it was very cool because it showed me what me and my friends are capable of when we play together. My sophomore year went way better, I bested all of my grades and I had a better season. Although we didn't win league my team and I fought hard until the very end and that's showed me more of what kind of heart we have for the sport we love. Going into my junior year I plan to get better grades than I got last year in my sophomore classes, I also plan to have a better season and always give tips to incoming freshman about things I should've done when I was a freshman. I plan to play in a D1/D2 college and I have very high hopes that my grades will only get better throughout my school career.
