Nick Coast '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to play in college at a competitive university. I am tuition exempt at all California state (UC/CSU) universities. I intend to be one of the best catchers in the division and play all four years as a starter.  I want to hit over .300 and to catch half of base runners attempting to steal on me. What sets me apart from other candidates is my desire to win against the best competition. I have a strong arm, can hit and lead. I rarely strike out and make good contact with the ball. When people tell me I'm too small to play at the highest level it only motivates me to prove them wrong. I play, lead and win! I set the example, I perform to in clutch situations and lead my team when we need to win. Academics come first, but baseball is lesson in success. It's a sport of failure and how you respond to the failures. I love playing baseball and want to continue playing at the next level.
