Hello, I am Chris Johnson. I am a Junior at Redwood Christian High School in San Lorenzo, California. I am a six foot and growing left hander, and I weigh two hundred and ten pounds. My favorite sport is baseball, I will play it all day everyday if I can. I am not the fastest kid on the field but if I get a chance to get a running start then I am pretty fast. When I am playing or practicing I give everything my all. I believe it takes a team to win. I play for the varsity baseball team at Redwood Christian High School where I have been a varsity player for two years and a varsity starter for one year. In my first year of starting I received a first team all league recognition for outfield players. Even though I came into high school as a first basemen and pitcher I told the coach I will play anywhere. I thoroughly enjoy just being out on the field playing no matter what, I optimistic about everything even if we are losing. When it comes to fixing problems in my game I am open to anything. Since I love being out there I try to have others love being out there also. I have received most inspirational and have been in many leadership programs in my high school and was junior varsity basketball captain during my freshman and sophomore year of high school. I would love to play college baseball. I have dreamed about playing in college baseball as long as I can remember. No matter what team I play for I will be enthusiastic and do my best and will bring energy to all. In high school our coach likes the dugout to be loud and I agree I am one of thee loudest players in my dugout the whole game, start to finish. I would like to go to college on the west coast. Specifically in California and Oregon. However, I would be more than happy to branch out to Nevada and Arizona. It doesn’t matter where I play as long as I am playing. I do not care about the size of the school or religion oriented. I would be happy to go to any school that would like me to play for them. It doesn’t matter what division I play for, NAIA, NCAA, etc. When choosing a college I will be filing for financial aid because I will try to make everything easy on my parents and we do not have the money to pay for college by ourselves. My major is Business and I will also like to take Electrical Engineering classes because I want to be an electrician when I graduate. I would like to go to college and play all four years but if not I am fine with that I know there are others who are better than me but I will practice to get better than them. I will try to out work anyone so that I can get better. And also my grades are very important I never let my grades get below a 3.0 grad point average. Baseball is something I am very serious about and something that I love playing no matter where.
