Trent Gilbert '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Trent Gilbert and I attend Torrance High School in Torrance, CA. I am 6 ft. tall, 170lbs, and I play Middle Infield. I have lettered in varsity baseball as a sophomore and a junior. My high school team has reached the CIF Finals in both years. As a junior, I was Team MVP, 1st Team All-League, 1st Team All-Area, and 2nd Team All-CIF SS Division IV. I batted .527 and I set school single season records in hits(58) and doubles(17). I am also an above average infielder, making very few errors. I am a very hard worker. I am always trying to improve my game on the field and get stronger in the weight room. In the class room, there's no exception. I received straight A's, with a 4.2 GPA, in both semesters of my junior year. I am open to all schools. My goal is to find a school that is a good fit for me, and a place where I can make an impact on the field.
