Christopher Estrella-Ramirez '15 Recruiting Profile

I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am not worried about making it to the Big Leagues, if it happens its a blessing if not its okay. But I am and will continue to work everyday to have the ability to play the game I love for one more year, month or even day. I understand the idea of fitting into a specific role within a team and perfecting that role for the greater success of the team. Furthermore, I work hard at everything I do, I play hard at all times, and am willing to do whatever the team needs me to do at any time they need it done. Academically, I have a 4.0 GPA unweighted and 4.37 weighted, from tenth through twelfth grade. Also, I have 3 AP classes and have accustomed myself to the long nights early morning mentality. My senior year my academics have maintained at a high performance level. A key factor to my attributes is the leadership I bring to the team/organization I play for. I have been the captain of my baseball team for the last two season, and the Varsity football captain as well. I motivate my teammates by performing at high level and am always putting in extra work, thus I push my teammates to work hard and maintain my level of dedication.  Finally, I approach the game with a high level of respect and consider myself a true student of the game. If you're teaching, I'm listening. I'm always learning, trying to get better and pick up the edge I can gain on my competition.
