Personal Statement
I started playing baseball at the age of 5 and it quickly became my passion. It has made me who I am today; a person of strong dedication and resilience. Baseball has taught me to push myself and always work harder. I’ve learned that my efforts don’t just benefit myself, but my teammates too. Most importantly, I’ve learned to not let defeat define me.
I work hard, both on and off the field. I maintain a 3.5 GPA, while competing in year-round baseball, as well as working part-time. I am a well rounded individual who has learned to balance many areas of my life successfully. I am confident that I am the type of student and player that you would want representing your school. I possess a strong sense of integrity and always try to set an example to those around me. I believe in supporting others and I do that in a very energetic, caring way.
I am focused on my future and will not give up trying to achieve my dream of playing baseball in college. I continue to work hard and train to make that dream a reality. I would love the opportunity to showcase my skills in front of you and discuss my personal, academic and athletic achievements.
