JJ Rytz '18 Recruiting Profile

My Name is JJ Rytz and I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember.  My goal is to continue to play in college as a right handed pitcher or a corner infielder.  I understand that grades are just as important as hard work on the field.  I finished my freshman year with a 4.0 GPA and my Sophomore year with an overall 3.96GPA,  this while playing baseball fulltime.  I was named to the varsity team as a pitcher as one of only 2 sophomores.  My freshman year I was awarded best defensive player on the team for my play at third base and on the mound, I take great pride in my defense both on the mound and at third base.  I work on my skills with a pitching and hitting coach and I work out several days a week at EXOS a gym that specializes in training college and professional athletes.  I know that the only way to get better is with hard work on and off the field.
