Over the course of my high school baseball career, I've come to learn a lot about myself and the game. One thing I learned is that the game isn't all physical but is mental as well. Necessarily the game of baseball isn't all physical. Playing in my freshman and sophomore year I had a pretty bad attitude that dictated my playing ability. Once I came to realization of my actions and attitude, I concluded that playing under pressure can be very mental when having a bad day at the plate or on the field. I've been able to look like I'm 4-4 but can be having a bad day and be 0-4 while still maintaining a great posture and attitude towards the game and teammates. As a catcher you are given the go ahead to call out plays , pitches, be vocal and a leader. I learned to become a leader and show an example to the underclass man. One suggestion I rather do is win a very important game and going 0-3 then losing and going 3-3 with 2 homers. My way of thinking.
