Dean Casey '20 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be able to play baseball at a higher level. As a pitcher, my goals is to become a regular pitcher on a college baseball team and throw over 90 by my senior year while maintaining efficiency. I am an accurate and effective ace pitcher with 2:1 strikes to ball ratio, 3:1 strike-outs to walks, ERA 0.96 and WHIP 0.94 after pitching 45 innings during the 2019 season for my high school. I am working out very hard to gain strength physically to be able to add even more velocity to my accuracy.   Academically, I am a student athlete earning 4.1 GPA with 4.3 GPA in my core classes with a SAT score of 1510 (790 Math, 720 Reading/Writing). I am interested in biology and physiology and would like to go into the sports medicine field to continue my passion in human anatomy and sports.  I get along extremely well with other players, which shows on the field both as a team player and a leader.
