Personal Statement
The highlight of my High School Baseball career was winning the Perfect Game "Coach Bob Invitational" tournament in Arizona. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete through the team philosophy. We focused on the next play, staying positive, and creating a brotherhood. I was awarded the "We, Not Me" plaque for my outstanding leadership and perseverance on, and off the field. That experience led me to re-focus my efforts on becoming a solid baseball player capable of playing at the college level.
I was fortunate enough to play for an amazing program, and better myself as a player and person. I learned the value of teamwork, communication, sacrifice, and commitment throughout my years on Varsity. I'm looking for a college that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a returning captain, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
