Athletics has affected my life in so many ways.  It has helped me communicate better with my peers and coaches.  It has helped me develop leadership skills to lead a team.  It has taught me how to use my skills to motivate my teammates and myself on and off the field.  It has given me a greater work ethic not only on the field but in the classroom as well.  By participating in Athletics at the high school level, I am optimistic about being a Baseball player in college because I have made some of the best friends in High School by being involved in Athletics and I will continue to do so in college.  The bonds I have made with my teammates is important to me on and off the field.  My dream of playing college baseball and possibly even playing in the major leagues means everything to me.  I love having people, family & friends rooting for me.  It makes me work hard and I love to win! I also enjoy the physical fitness side of being an Athlete.  It makes me feel good and has given me a sense of responsibility.  I am proud to be a Student Athlete!
