I started to play baseball at the age of four years old. Baseball has been a huge part of my family growing up. My goal is to attend and play baseball while completing a four-year program majoring in Communications/ Public Relations. Throughout high school academics played a huge role. I was fortunate enough to receive Scholar Athlete and Honor Roll mentions. What I have learned throughout my baseball career is that success is not given; it is earned through hard work, dedication, and tears. Speed plays a key role in my success on the baseball field. My character, work ethic and leadership skills have helped me throughout my baseball career. I am like a sponge when it comes to coaches teaching me the game of baseball. I am always willing to put in the extra time to become a better player. With me, I am a team first type of player. One obstacle that I had to overcome would have to be my size. Throughout my baseball career, I had to work harder than anyone else by proving size does not matter. I believe in baseball it is about the player who has the most heart for the game and not all about their size.
