I've been playing and loving baseball my whole life, and I always knew that I wanted to have a future with the game. To this day I still believe this and I am willing to do whatever it takes to play at the collegiate level. I am a very hard worker on the court, on the field, and most importantly, in the classroom. I enjoy working hard and always improving both academically and physically.
To give back to my school, I share the experience and knowledge I have gained from playing the game I love to young children, both before and after school at elementary sports camps and vacation bible schools. I not only enjoy the game itself, but I love to always improve and give back to my community.
I am a leader on both my basketball team and especially my baseball team. I lead by example on and off the field, and when no one is looking, and I'm always building better relationships with both my teammates and my coaches, and I'm always encouraging my fellow teammates. I see the team as family. My goal is to be known as the hardest worker and trainer no matter what the circumstance. My sophomore year of high school was a down year for my team. We lost great senior ball players the past year that lead us far into playoffs, the following year we realized it wasn't as easy as we thought. My Junior year we came out strong. Everyone worked hard in the offseason and everyone did what ever it takes to help our team be successful, which we were that season. I learned to be willing to do whatever it takes to contribute to my team.
I hope to attend a University that best fits me in the academic and athletic part of my college experience, and to always be growing and getting better as a player, a student, and a young man.
