Matt Meraz '16 Recruiting Profile

I plan to obtain a pre-law degree to then pursue a Law Degree.  One thing that separates me from other members of my team is that i can stay level headed when things get tough and keep people from freaking out.  My past coaches have always seen me as a leader on the field by showing people what needs to get done when it needs to get done.  I feel that I am an ideal candidate for most teams because I am a person of good morals and character.  I'm different from most athletes because I also volunteer as a religious sponsor for a younger baseball player at my church.  I also help to coach my little brother's baseball team in the summer. I am also a part of a business club at my high school called Future Business Leaders of America.  In this club I participate in events that entail to business side of things.  Also I volunteer for the club to help organizations such as The March of Dimes, and the Ronald Mcdonald House.
