Allan Goodwin '18 Recruiting Profile

The only goal in my life is to play baseball as a professional athlete. Knowing I've tried my hardest and going to any level of playing would be my main goal. I want to shoot for being a starter by my sophomore year if I have to platoon my freshman. My other goals include going to further my education and graduating with my desired degree of course, if possible. I feel that I separate from others just because of three things. These three things I pride myself on the field and as well off. I will absolutely give one hundred and ten percent on and off the field. I have heart. I won't ever give up, I will learn from my failures, and then try to improve. Lastly self confidence and confidence in my teammates. I will make sure I get to know everyone around me and make sure they know I'm behind them one hundred percent. Hoping they will do the same in return. I go into every game and practice with an open mind and no matter what I'll try something new just if it doesn't work I'll report that back and try something new. In school I push myself to my limits and I work hard every class to the best of my abilities. However I take the knowledge I learn from the classroom onto the field, as I take my skills on the field to the classroom. All in all I have high aspirations for playing for a collegiate team and in hopes wish to be playing at the highest level my abilities allow me to.
