Personal Statement

My name is Eric La Rue and I am in the Class of 2017 at Brighton High School in Brighton, CO. I am a great candidate for your team because I am determined, hard working, and I strive for greatness on the field and in the classroom. I am a great teammate and I truly enjoy the game. I also understand the game of baseball and I know what to do on the mound, field, or in the batters box depending on the situation. What seperates me from other recruits is my respect for the game, umpires, coaches, and teammates. I can also be seperated by other recruits because I can pitch, play first base, outfield, and I am always eager to play at other positions. Academics have always been number 1. I know that when I am done with baseball the only thing that I will have is my education. I have made honor roll every semester of my high school career. I have taken honors classes and will be taking AP classes this year. My goals for college would be to lead my team, get a great education, and inspire my community.
