Personal Statement
My name is Avery Liam Benis. I was born August 13th, 2001 in Arvada, Colorado. I currently attend Horizon High School and will be graduating May of 2019.
Baseball has always been my first love from the day I was born. As a child I dreamed of the days where I would be playing baseball for my local High School. Along this journey I have received a vast amount of support from my parents and other family members who would constantly nudge me in the right direction and onto the path of achieving my dreams. Going into my senior season as a young senior, I plan to continue striving to make an impact on my team and consistently strive to improve my game to help my team win. I would love to continue this habit into the college level!
Due to my High School being so involved in the local community it is almost natural to always offer to help out around town and/or meet and make new friends. As a student I am most definitely determined to raise my current GPA of a 3.0 in my final year of High school. I look forward to going to the college level with these academic tendencies.
