Preston Yurt '18 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has become a lifestyle for me. When I was younger, I used to not like playing because of my lack of skill for the game. I would hate going to games because I would never perform well, and almost decided to give up. It was my last year of club ball before high school, so I decided to give it a shot. This was the year I fell in love with the sport. I started to understand the game and begin to play to the level I wanted. After this I began to practice more and more, and absolutely loved playing. This has carried on with me into high school, and has developed my game greatly.

                I Think I would be a good fit for a collegiate team because of my size and ability. I have always been a bigger and stronger kid, and lift weights most days out of the week. I maintain a high GPA, and always put school high on my priorities. I have grown up with a family of faith that has taught me to respect my elders and peers, and always strive to get better. I would also be a good fit for your team because of my coachability. I will listen and respond to any thing that will help me or them team compete to the best of their ability.
