Personal Statement
Throughout my middle school and high school career, I have challenged myself in the classroom while playing multiple sports. This has taught me time management skills, focus, and how I learn best. I am still working to determine what to study since I excel in multiple subjects and have many academic interests.
I served in the community on my own and through projects with National Honor Society. Working with places like the Gabby Krause Foundation, which provides toys for children with terminal illness, has taught me gratitude for what I have. I have learned the power of selflessness and compassion, traits that also make a great classmate and teammate.
I have four pitches that I can consistently throw for strikes in any count. I pride myself in throwing strikes, challenging hitters, and getting ahead in counts. My favorite part of pitching is strategy and keeping hitters off balance, which I have learned to master in order to be effective without an overpowering fastball.
