Dreams are what make reality possible. Playing baseball has been a consistent part of my life since I was five years old. My passion for baseball started while hearing stories from my father about the times he played and coached. I was fortunate to have him as my first coach and he helped instill my love of the game. Whether I’m watching a game, looking up statistics about players or putting on my glove I continue to seek every opportunity to grow in my knowledge and skill so I can play at every level offered to me.
I am confident in my athletic ability as a pitcher and infielder and routinely work with a private pitching and conditioning coach to prepare for college level ball. I have played at various levels throughout my years. My exposure to teamwork started with my family who taught me loyalty, commitment, and how a positive attitude impacts every facet of my life. I continually challenge myself to supersede these qualities and hold personal integrity as my highest standard. I believe it is important to do the right thing all of the time, whether or not someone is watching. I have a strong work-ethic; personally, academically, and as an athlete. These qualities will guide my life both on and off the field.
On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player, leader and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will continue to put in the extra work to perform at the highest level of my ability. I will strive to be an asset in all aspects of the game whether that is in the pitching rotation, infield, and/or batting line-up. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field. I know that how I conduct myself reflects on my team, my coaches and the school I attend. I will continually work at being a young man of character.
I am looking for a program that will be a solid fit for me athletically and academically. I want my college experience to be one of personal growth and development and plan to pursue a career in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, or Athletic Training. Off the field I plan to be a conscientious student focused on academic success.
