Personal Statement
All throughout life, baseball and sports has equipped me to be a successful, well rounded, and a humble person. As a sophomore in highschool I suffered from a brutal wrestling injury which required surgery and now we have COVID-19. Between both, my high school baseball career has been compromised, spring and summer season of 2019 and now 2020 due to Staying Home and Staying Safe. Through it all I have tried my best to frame it in the most positive perspective as possible, working on strength training and drills everyday in my garage and yard. These obstacles have changed my mindset, they taught me to not take things for granted and always go 100% because you never know when necessities in life, can be taken away from you. My faith through Christianity shapes how I live my life and the morals that I follow. As I'm maturing not only as a player but as an individual I've realized that my heart chooses the path I want to go in life but God is creating the steps to get there. I can't imagine my life with out baseball and look forward to being part of a college team. As a player and team member, I have an easy going energy that takes the stress off teammates shoulders in high intensity situations. Having a competitive persona drives me to be the hardest worker, not only on the field but off the field. Dedication and passion is what drives me to go out there and adapt to new teams, players, coaches, and even opponents. You'll always catch me lifting my teammates up from negative situations.
