Andrew Spezzano '18 Recruiting Profile

I am an enthusiastic, hardworking student, who is dedicated to learning and having a positive impact on society.   A motivated and focused individual who strives for excellence in everything I do.  I am very analytical, creative, detail oriented, determined, insightful and thoughtful.

I'm interested in government, history, statistics and sports.  I enjoy sports statistics and trivia, helping others when I can and debating the issues of past and current events.    

In my free time, I enjoy working with the neighborhood kids as a homework helper and to develop their athletic skills..  Teaching them to stay active and healthy.

My greatest passion in life is playing baseball. 

I enjoy competing and work hard every day to become a better athlete.  

I listen to my coaches and put the time in to grow and hone my skills, always analyzing, adjusting and staying positive.  I pick my team up when they are down and talk them up when they succeed. 

On the mound, I am always focused and in control.  I'm a precision pitcher with excellent command. I pick my spots and execute my pitches to hit them.  I have a range of pitches that I can adjust speed on and move around the zone with control.

I thrive on pressure and I will take the ball in any scenario.

Am I at the level to play in college? I believe I am.  I very much look forward to the challenge.
