Personal Statement
Defense, speed, and versatility is what I pride myself in as a player. I started at six different positions on Choate Rosemary Hall's varsity team as a Sophomore, but primarily played third base. As a switch-hitter who drives the gaps, I find myself at or near the top of the batting order. I batted second as a sophomore as I could get on base, drive in the leadoff hitter, or move over the leadoff hitter. I consistently have an OBP north of .450 from both sides of the plate, but defense and base stealing is where I differentiate myself. I did not make a single error over the entire Spring and Summer seasons this past year. I have always relied heavily on my speed and this was evident when I went 30/33 for stolen bases between the Spring and Summer seasons.
