Baseball is special to me. I played baseball my entire life and have been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to play at the next level. I have been able to push myself harder than most people i am competing against because i realize how important each throw or swing is because both of my brothers have had career ending injuries. I can see how important each individual thing is so i cherish them even more. i am extremely motivated to chasing my dreams and competing in them.
I am a great student. I have a 4.2 GPA and got a 1700 on my SATs without the help of a class or tutor. I am taking them again with the hopes of getting a 1900. Academics is the only place where i am remotely close to as motivated to succeed. I know i am capable of handling both playing a sport and school.
other than baseball i am the captain of my high school swim team and have a school record. From swimming i have learned how important it is to take care of my body. I have also played basketball and ran cross country. In my free time i play ultimate frisbee and football. I am a very athletic kid and love to exercise. I am very competitive and do not like to lose.
All of these things about me have helped me tremendously throughout high school sports and will help me in collegiate sports.
