Colin Smith '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colin Smith. I am currently a junior at Delaware Military Academy in Wilmington, Delaware. I will graduate in 2019. I’ve been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and my love and passion for baseball grows every day. I currently play baseball for the 2019 Mizuno Aces American, and since freshman year I have been playing for my Varsity for my High School Team. Since I was younger, I have been playing 1-3 years above my level to excel and become a better player. I was able to stand out and become a very dominant player which I still maintain. I have learned over the years that there is more to baseball than anyone can see, all the countless hours of training that goes unnoticed, the time, the workouts, and the dedication. I apply this commitment on and off the field, with everything I do. I am a very hard worker, and I am very motivated. In the classroom I have a 3.9 GPA, ranked 15^th among my class, and hold a place in the National Honor Society. I give back to the community with countless hours of community service and by bring apart of organizations and clubs. My goal is to continue my baseball career and receive a top education. If given the chance to play college baseball I will make the most out of it, being the hardest worker and a leader for your team.
