Personal Statement
My parents have mostly influenced who I am. I always try to do what is right, and I work very hard on everything that I do. I started playing baseball when I was about 4 or 5, I really started to get interested in it when I was about 9 or 10. I learned that I was very competitive and I always strive to do my best. I found out that baseball was my favorite thing in the world to do. My academic goal is to stay on honor roll throughout high school. Last year I had to overcome an ACL injury during football season. I knew that I had to be at 100% for baseball season, and that gave me the drive to work hard and focus on my recovery with no setbacks. I am dedicated and a hard worker, and I try to overcome any obstacle that I encounter. My goal is to play ball in college, and I'm confident that if I continue to work hard I will be an asset to any team.
