Jonathan Halverson '12 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. Ever since I was little, my dream has been to play at the most aggressive level. Currently, I want to play for a college team that plays top competition, and train for a potential major league career. I am 5'11 200 pounds, and run a 6.83 60 yard dash time. In addition, my background in physical training includes 2 years as a champion wrestler including 6th and 7th placements at the California State Level. I credit these accomplishments to dedication, discipline, and a strong work ethic. I am a genuine team player, and use my leadership skills to enhance team unity. Some of my recent accomplishments include MVP of the Stanford Advanced Hitting/Catching Camp and I was named the Team Captain at my former high school, (I am now with IMG Baseball Academy/Pendleton High School.) I also hit .400 batting average in the 16 and under Junior Olympics in Jupiter Florida. I love the game of baseball more than anything. I am open to going almost anywhere in the nation for school.
