My name is Dakota Blevens. I just graduated F. W. Springstead High school in Hernando County, FL with Honors and completed The Allied Health Program. I am 6'1 and weigh 185 pounds. I am a very hard worker who is determined to play ball at the next level. I believe hard work pays off and you must work hard everyday to become a better student and athlete. I focus hard on my academics and believe in giving back to my community. After graduating high school I plan to study in Sports Medicine. I am a young responsible adult who spends time with my family and in my spare time I volunteer at our local Police Athletic League. I enjoy being involved with sports and am very athletic. Growing up I played baseball and football. After my freshmen year I decided to solely to play baseball.
I've played baseball since the age of 3 and I am passionate about the sport. I am a third baseman and a RHP. I also am versatile in other positions as well. I play 1st, 2nd, and can play well in the outfield. We ended our season 24-4. My final batting average was .308. Our High School has won back to back district championships this season in our county for 2017. I was named the 2017 All Hernando County Player for Third Base.
I continue to eat healthy and work out every week to improve my game play and to maintain a healthy life. I believe that a healthy lifestyle is essential in being a great athlete. I am determined to play my best and to play baseball in college.
Thank you,
Dakota Blevens
