Miguel Ramallo '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" Shortstop from Miami, Florida and will graduate in the 2011 class. I started as a sophomore in the high school varsity team, playing in one of the most competitive South Florida 6A district. My varsity batting average is .357. In my first year I had 24 RBI in 23 games which led me to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award. I only have strikeout 10 times in 159 Plate Appearances and I have participated in many national competitions for different traveling teams, including the South Florida Snappers and participated in the USSSA World Series. I am very responsible, reliable and willing to work hard every day. Ideally I would like to be in a school that could allow me to excel academically and to early contribute to the Baseball team. I am flexible to any geographical location with some preference in the east coast, south and central states, but this is not a limitation. I am looking for a college where I can obtain a degree in Kinesiology, Nutritionist, Sport Management, Wellness Studies or any other similar degree.
