Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since the age of 5 and it is truly what drives me. I play for my high school team and for a travel organization. I always give 100% and understand the required dedication needed to excel. While my primary position is 2B, I have been utilized in several other positions to include outfield, 3B and SS. I am more of a utility player. For most of my baseball career I have been lead off batter and find that I do best in the one/two spot. I received the Golden Glove in my sophomore year, playing with a very talented group of players. The one thing in my mind that sets me apart from others is the passion and respect that I have for the game. Baseball is a part of me. I am not completely sure of the path that I want to take in college but hope to have a better vision in the near future. I am currently slightly below a 3.0 GPA but am working with my guidance counselor and personal tutor to resolve that issue. I fully expect that upon graduation (or sooner) I will be maintaining a 3.0 or higher.
