Personal Statement

My dream has always been to go to college and play college baseball and to hopefully one day reach the MLB. After college and my baseball career, I plan to teach and help others play the game to the best of their abilities. I played on my first baseball team at age 4 and haven't missed a season since.  As far back as I can remember, the game of baseball has been a big part of my life.  When I was eight years old I decided I wanted to hold the position of catcher.  I also love the positions of 1st and 3rd, but I’m at home when I’m catching.  I've worked hard and succeeded in being the starting catcher all three years as a high school player. Even as a junior, I look for ways to hone and improve my skills both at the plate as well as behind it. I'm thankful for the opportunities this position has brought me.  It has challenged and encouraged me to be a leader both on the field and off. I always strive to bring my best defense behind the plate of which I expect to be perfect. I recognize that I'm only 1 person on a team and am always supportive of my team and teammates. As a member of a team, I accept that sacrifices will be needed to help accomplish a win and am willing to make that sacrifice for the greater good of the team.  College will be the beginning of the rest of my life which I intend to embrace with all of my abilities as it will be the stepping stone to the life that will allow me to bring my knowledge to others helping them to succeed and achieve their dreams.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
