Personal Statement
My name is Trey Pearce, I am a 6'1 195 pound Sophomore at Pasco-Hernando State College in Port Richey, FL. I have been playing the game of baseball since I was 4 years old. It has always been a goal of mine to play D1 college baseball. I believe I will be a great addition to any College or University because of my great work ethic on and off the field. I have been taught at an early age to respect the game and work hard in the class room. I play first base and can also play in the outfield. I moved to Tallahassee, Florida at the start of my Junior year. Before the move, I attended Gulf Coast High School in Naples, Florida. I then attended North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, Florida. North Florida Christian has a long and storied baseball program that has produced many MLB baseball players as well as Division 1 College athlete's. My junior year, we lost in the state championship game. In my first year at Pasco-Hernando State College, I was the DII region 8 defensive player of the year with a .994 fielding percentage. This summer I played in the Futures League with the Martha's Vineyard Sharks. I played first base and OF. I finished the year with a .995 fielding percentage. I look forward to talking to all coaches that believe I will be a good fit for there University and there baseball program. Please feel free to call or email me at any time if you have any further questions.
