Personal Statement
I love baseball and would love to be able to continue my baseball career while achieving the goal of graduating from college. Ultimately, I would love to play after college as well. I would like to play for a school that understands the true meaning of a student-athlete and knows how important a college degree is today, while making me a better baseball player.
I feel like I am a great candidate for many different programs for many reasons. I am a very versatile player, playing right and center field, third base, short stop, and pitching. I feel that I do all of these things well. I have an above average arm and ran a 6.89 60 as a 16 year old. I have power to all fields and am quick enough get some infield hits and steal bases.
Currently I attend a private Christian high school with very high academic standards. Evan though I am a junior, I am young for my grade and will graduate at 17. I feel like going to TMA has prepared me for the heavy college academic load and I am ready to take on that challenge.
