Cooper Scott '23 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 2023 power hitting outfielder/1st baseman from Austin TX, playing for Lake Travis High School and GPS Legends.  I love my teammates and the game.  I’m dedicated to growing as a player, student, and person.  My goal is to play at the highest level possible with aspirations to play professionally.  I’m excited for my junior year to start!  I love the gym!  during my off time you will find me working out, fishing, or cooking an amazing steak.  Since I started playing, I have always been the strongest hitter on my teams.  As I have gotten older, my other skills (speed, defense, base running) have caught up to my power.  My current tracked exit velocity is 105.5 during a recent PBR event, and my 60 time is 6.93.  By the time I graduate from high school I want to increase my exit velocity to 110mph and run somewhere under 6.8.  I am confident that these numbers will help me contribute to a fantastic college baseball program!  I want to major in business and get my MBA after my baseball career comes to an end.  I love the idea of creating and running my own company someday.
