Personal Statement
Playing baseball at the college level and beyond has been my dream ever since I was young. To contribute to a great program would be the best thing that I could think of. My hunger to succeed and passion for the game of baseball is what makes me an extremely hard worker. My mentality to be the best and my confidence is one aspect that I believe puts me aside from many student athletes. My passion for the game of baseball is so grand. Every second of the day all I can think about is baseball and every aspect of it. My drive to succeed is what powers me to work harder than anyone else to get a little better each day.
To explain my passion for the game would be too hard since it is larger than life, but to show it on the field is not. I believe that success is only possible with hard work, and that is why each day I am working harder and harder to be the best ball player and student I can be. I think that an ideal college for myself would be one with strong academics as well as a strong baseball program. Another important thing to me is being a team player. I believe that to be a great ball player, you must be willing to make sacrifices for your team. Whether it is bunting in a situation where you believe you can drive the ball, or taking a pitch right in the face to win the game, being a team player is crucial to being a stand out ball player. I know for a fact that there is nothing that can hold me back from reaching every goal I set no matter how high it is. Right now my goal is to work harder than anyone to get better each day so that way my highest goals and dreams will become a reality, and I know that my passion will never change and my love will always be baseball.
