I am a junior at Seabreeze High School, and have been the starting catcher on Varsity since 9th grade. I pride myself in my defensive tools behind the plate and am looking forward to continuing to play at the college level. I maintain a 3.7 GPA in a mix of honors and AP/AICE classes and am working on bringing up my SAT/ACT scores. In addition to baseball and school, I maintain a job working at a feed store about 10 hours/week.
My sophomore season, I was named Honorable Mention to the All-Area Second team, and in December 2019, I broke my personal best, throwing a 1.78 pop during the Perfect Game Main Event in Ft. Myers, ranking 1st in that category.
Canyon Brown (Seabreeze HS) is a very talented 2021 C prospect worth following. Top tier defender with a + arm. He was very impressive at our event on Sunday. @CanyonBBaseball @SHSCrabBaseball

Listed at 6-foot, 165 pounds, he looks much taller with longer limbs. Really stood out defensively where he has some twitchy athleticism, sound and quick footwork, and some projection with his pop times ranging from 1.92-1.97. Offensively, he stands tall and has a toe tap trigger with very little load. There is some strength, and could see more with separation. Had an exit velocity of 83 mph. Overall, the defensive tools have a chance to really play and room to grow into a projectable frame offensively.
