Personal Statement
Ever since I was little, I have wanted to compete. Regardless of what the activity was, I would fight to win. This naturally led to me playing sports. I grew up playing basketball, football and baseball. Through the years, my abilities and my love for the game led me to pick baseball as my future.
With regards to academics, I want to continue the academic excellence I have achieved so far, maintaining straight A’s with a heavy class load and athletic schedule. I am currently studying Business and Engineering to possibly pursue in college.
Baseball has taught me that when I am faced with challenges on and off the field I have to assess the situation and come in with a positive and confident attitude. I’ve learned that my attitude and energy spreads to my team and produces a positive outcome. I am a focused and dynamic pitcher with a sense of humor. I love being on the field and leading my team on the mound.
