Turner Shultz '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1,  183 pound outfielder attending Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida. I just completed my Junior year of high school varsity baseball and led the team in Home Runs hit. The previous two years I was on the JV baseball team.  I served as the JV team's number one pitcher and right fielder.  In my Freshman and Sophomore years, I was a part of the football team, playing wide receiver and safety.  This last summer I played baseball with the Orlando Scorpions.

In the classroom, I currently have a 4.0 GPA while taking three AP classes and 3 honor classes. I am a part of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society,  St. Vincent de Paul, a service club  and a member of Catholic Athletes for Christ.  I plan to work very hard athletically and academically.  I want to push myself to reach my  highest capabilities.  I am a leader, not a follower, and I am always a friend to everyone that I meet.  I am always encouraging my teammates and lifting them up.  I want to attend a school where I can make an impact to the team and the people around me, while giving my all to pursue my dream of being a Major League Baseball Player.
